Boy Scouts of America

St. John Neumann Parish sponsors the Cub Scout Pack 287 which meets twice a month on Sunday afternoons. Boys in grades 1-5 interested in participating should contact

Eric White (Cub Master), Paul Anslow, (Committee Chair), or Kathy Hunter (Charter Rep).


Boy Scout Troop 287 meets on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM. Boys in grade 5 or higher (and at least 11 years old)  interested in participating should contact Steve Cronin at (803) 404-1930, or Wendy Bobadilla, (803) 413-4797.


Those interested in becoming Scout leaders must apply through the BSA: Indian Waters Council at 
http://www.indianwaters.org.

Required Diocesan forms:

Background Screening Forms (Needs to be completed when joining the troop, and then every 5 years, or as needed for an audit)

Diocesan Code of Conduct Forms (Needs to be completed when joining the troop, then as needed)

Diocesan Driving Form(needs to be completed annually [by October of every year, and when you join the troop/pack] if you do any driving for the troop/pack and/or transport the kids) (Proof of insurance is also required)

Safe Haven (program that replaces Virtus, required by ALL adults in pack/troop).
